Daily thought

*Salt -VS- Rice* If you were to cook 3 cups of rice, would you add 3 cups of salt to it? Certainly not! So, in every preparation of rice, the rice always *outnumbers* the salt, yet a little salt makes a *huge difference/impact* in the overall outcome. In the room in which you currently are, look up at the ceiling... What is the size of the bulb compared to the size of the room? It is probably a ratio of 1:5000. Yet, *darkness flees* the entire space once the small bulb is *flipped on*. If I am the salt of the earth, and the light of the world, then "little me" has the ability to make big things happen. Sometimes, because we feel *outnumbered or overwhelmed at the sheer magnitude of evil or wrong-doers*, we then choose powerlessness, and decide to go with the flow, not standing up for what we believe is right. Little doesn't mean insignificant. You are *significant*. Your presence should make a *BIG* difference. Stop waiting to be on the side of the major

Think of this

Phil 1:21, for to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. You see your sole aim of living is to glorify God. He is the supreme end of your life. Have you been glorifying God with your life. Have you been living for him, there is away that seemeth right unto a man but the end thereof is destruction... Have a good day.

The power of gratitude

Image
We have so much to be grateful for in this life. Each and every day. But reality is that sometimes constant life demands, struggles, and worries give more room to defeat than to a heart of thanks. Or we forget, in the midst of busyness and pressures, just to pause and give thanks, for all that God has done, and continues to do in our lives. Sometimes it really is a sacrifice to offer praise and thanks. We may not feel like it. We’re struggling. We're weary. Or maybe, we feel like He let us down. We think God seems distant, like he's far away, or doesn't really care about what's troubling us. Painful life blows and losses might have recently sent us spiraling. But here’s what can make a lasting difference. We have a choice, every day, to give him thanks. And with a heart of thanksgiving, we realize that no matter what we face, God doesn’t just work to change our situations and help us through our problems. He does more. He changes our he

A must read for ladies

FOR THE LADIES, During your 20s, men are trooping and everyone wants to marry you. They are all over you. Your WhatsApp doesn’t rest. Your messenger is filled up. If you breath on Facebook, you will get 400 likes and 350 comments. You can’t walk on the street without ssshhh ssshhh. Your breasts are very comely at this time. Your lips are succulent and your legs are smooth. Even if you are ugly, it doesn’t show much at this level of your life because everything is still standing tall. The backside is still very nicely shaped and bouncing properly. Now, the mistake most of the ladies make is this: 1. At this level, you easily dump guys in relationship. Any little thing, you break up. In your mind, there are many fishes in the ocean. Over 20 other guys are bothering you for relationship, so you can easily hook up with another guy. After six months, you break up again and start another one. You are like hot akara. You cannot bend down and build a solid relationship nor learn how t

Great story: laugh it out

Gbenga dropped out of sec. school. Although a very bright student one thing or the other made him leave school, his boyhood friend Peter however managed to go on with his studies, and at a time when it wasn’t easy to make a Division A, in WAEC, Peter did. He won a scholarship to study abroad and left for London where he did a first and postgraduate degree, crowning it with a Ph.D in Aeronautic Engineering, he was a hot cake and had his pick of jobs abroad. Time passed and Gbenga forgot about his friend Peter. Gbenga married, had 7 kids, and was in the village suffering. One fateful day he went to the market in  Bukuru, as he made to cross the road an oncoming car sreeched to a stop, pulled over  to the cab and stopped. A well dressed man stepped out, shouting his name. If not for the familiarity of the man's features and voice, Gbenga would have ran away but something made him to stop and walk back towards the car. He bent respectfully and greeted the man standing beside the

Meditate on this

The song "It Is Well With My Soul" was written by a successful Christian lawyer Heratio Spafford. His only son died at age 4 in 1871. In 1872, the great Chicago fire wiped out his vast estate, made from a successful legal career. In 1873 he sent his wife & 4 daughters over to Europe on a summer trip on the ill fated SS Ville du Havre. Since he had a lot of work to do, he planned to follow them later. The Ship sank and he lost his 4 daughters with the wife being the only survivor. She sent him a famous telegram which simply read, "SAVED ALONE...."  On his return home, his Law firm was burned down and the insurance company refused to pay him. They said "It's an Act of God".  He had no money to pay for his house and no work, he also lost his house.  Then while sitting and thinking what's happening to him, being a spiritual person, he wrote a song - "Whatever, my Lord, You have taught me to say - It is well, it is well with my soul".  My

Be contented

Put your kids in schools you can afford (expensive schools don't guarantee good results). Just ensure they attend a good, affordable school. Rent apartments you can pay conveniently, don't live in a house you struggle to pay yearly. A man whose wife is pregnant has good 9months to prepare, so also is the pregnant woman in question. They should even plan for the worse and only seek help when they can't meet up. Some problems in our lives don't just appear from the blues! 12 months ago, we knew we would pay rents... So it's not an emergency... Let's plan our lives and live within our means. Save more and spend less! Some women buy food for their children every morning before they  go to school... do you know it's cheaper to cook at home?  Some buy every asoebi and also buy shoe and bag to match. Some people don't  earn much but they have DSTv at home! Go for GOTv and upgrade when your income upgrades...It's still the same CNN and African Mag

Always remember this

10 things you can do to help your Pastor . Pastoring is a tough job. It is one calling that takes your spiritual , mental and physical input! Many pastors are actually stressed out , overworked and depressed . Want to know how to help your pastor and also help your growth in Christ? 1 . Show up! You have no idea what your continuous attendance at your local church does for your assembly . The truth is that people join a church based on the kind of community it is . They join because of the fellowship of brethren and the love there in . Ensuring you never miss a service ensures that the assembly has the pleasure and blessing of your fellowship. Growing churches grow easier than non - growing churches . Your absence at your local church meeting does more harm than you can ever imagine . 2. Pay attention to the word . A church filled with babies cannot significantly advance God's plan on the earth . This is why you must desire to grow and take steps to do so . You need t

SIX GREAT LESSONS FROM SIX GREAT MEN🎙* 1) E.A.ADEBOYE: Humility is not stupidity or mediocrity. You can live in humility, purity and prosperity at the same time. 2) W.F.KUMUYI: Holiness is not a big deal but the real deal. And holiness is never an excuse for poverty. You can be richly holy. 3) DAVID O OYEDEPO: Faith is a risk you must continue to take if you must continue to be a burden to none and a lift to others. 4) DR. D.K. OLUKOYA: In the school of destiny discovery, recovery and fulfilment, everyone is a fighter, consciously or unconsciously. You have to fight against something if you must be anything in life. 5) PAUL ENENCHE: You don't have to be big in stature to dare big project. You don't need a big stature to make big impact. All you need is God's grace, big heart and right mentality. 6) DAVID IBIYEOME: You cannot experience divine enlargement on every side until you enlarge your mind set. And nothing will move until you make the move. BREAD for the BRETH

Friday- blessed day with the holy spirit

Topic: The way of truth Text: Ps119:30 Here David said that he has chosen the way of truth and that he has laid the judgment of God before him. So friend have you chosen the way of truth or your living in lies and decide to hide the truth, remember truth always prevails, also remember  to lay the judgment of God before you because his judgment is sure. Finally; friend allow truth to guide you always because the truth will always set you free John8:32 God bless you today

faithful God

What a faithful God. Look around you, you will notice that somebody died today, and or may be some one is in the  hospital or sick at home and no one to take care of him or her. But God made it possible for you to go out and come in safely it's a privilege to thank God.  Ask your self what have  you been able to do for him lately, why don't you take a moment and appreciate him because he is a good God

God is great

Great is our God and he is greatly to be praise. People may try to run you down in life. But you need to keep pushing. When God is for you no one can bring you down. The can only make you stronger. Think about this.
