They stayed with each other and hoped that they will have a child before their 10th year of marriage because they were being persuaded by family and some friends to get a divorce but they couldn’t let go because of the love between them. Matthew 16:24-26 Anyone who want to be like Jesus or follow Jesus must deny himself. Denying your self is denying your lustful desire and aslso denying the world and its system. For instance many will want to lie to make money or make sales, if you want to be a true follower of Jesus you must shun lies. Also many will want to cheat to have their way, as a true follower of Jesus you must not follow that trend.
